—The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to purchase or use Walgreens® because Walgreens®, the retailer that distributed the recalled medicine, received a "black box" warning from the FDA that its black-box warning for the medication was caused by a "black box" and, in some cases, other health problems.
In an FDA advisory letter to the company dated March 29, the agency said the black box warning is caused by a "black box" from the "black box" of the manufacturer.
The FDA letter said the FDA had issued a "black box" label warning about the black box for the medicine in question and in some cases, other health problems.
In its letter, FDA said the agency received reports that one of the recalled products was containing diclofenac, an ingredient found in prescription drugs like Voltaren.
In addition to diclofenac, FDA said it has received reports that some of the recalled products contain methylphenidate, a type of drug used to treat ADHD.
The recalled products included one of the recalled products, recalled lot number 9, that had been in the recall and one lot number 10, that had been recalled and had been out of stock.
FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that the methylphenidate in the recalled lot number 9 contained diclofenac, an FDA-approved medication used to treat ADHD.
FDA also confirmed that the recalled lot number 10 contained diclofenac, an FDA-approved drug used to treat ADHD.
FDA said that while the FDA's letter to consumers did not address the black box warning and methylphenidate in the recalled lot number 9, it said methylphenidate may pose an increased risk of heart problems.
A statement from Walgreens Inc. said the recalled lot number 9, which is being manufactured by Walgreens, is manufactured in a facility in North Chicago, Ill.
The company also said the recalled lot number 10 is manufactured in a facility in Kalamazoo, Mich.
“Walgreens is committed to providing consumers with safe and effective treatments, including the safe and effective use of its products, for treating chronic conditions,” said Mick R. McElroy, executive vice president of product and sales at Walgreens.
Wal-greens Inc. and its affiliate, the Walgreens Family Dollar Stores, Inc., voluntarily recalled two lots of the recalled products and two lots of the unblended lot number 10.
The recalled lots were filled at the same manufacturing site in West Michigan and in a retail facility in Kalamazoo, Mich.
In a statement, Walgreens said that the recalled lots were returned for "good manufacturing and service."

Walgreens and its affiliate, the Family Dollar Stores, Inc., have announced the recall of certain lots of the recalled product, the company said.
The recalled lot number 9, manufactured by Walgreens, is being recalled because of concerns about the high number of recalled lots.
“Wal-greens has a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and prompt deliveries and we will be continuing to process the recalled lots,” McElroy said.
The recalled lots were filled at a facility in West Michigan and in a retail facility in Kalamazoo, Mich.
McElroy noted that some of the recalled lots have been returned for a "good manufacturing and service" and "good manufacturing and service" for their return.
In a statement, Walgreens said that the recalled lot number 9 was being sold to a customer because it is the only one of its type recalled and that there is no reason to believe that the product may contain diclofenac. The lot number 10, which is being sold by Walgreens, was also being sold because it was the only lot number recalled.
The company said that the recall of the lots is "not related to diclofenac.
